Advance Cabin Crew Training Course

Requirement & qualification for an air hostess in Nepal

 

1. Academic qualification: 10+2 passed in any faculty
2. Age: between 18 to 28 years
3. Physical fitness: International airlines height should be more than Female 5.2ft or 157cm and  for male 5.7ft or 170cm. International airlines with a minimum height of 157.5 centimeters. Minimum arm reach of 212cms (on tip toes), which enables you to reach emergency equipment on all aircraft types
4. Body mass index should be normal.
5. Eyesight: 6/6 or 6/24 vision in each eye. accepted if your eye is corrected with a contact lens.
6. Marital status: unmarried
7. Language: proficient in English and Nepali
8. Fluency in English, Nepali, and knowledge of an international language is an added advantage.
9. Medical Test You must be medically fit as the airline conducts various medical tests including blood/urine tests, eye tests, heart tests, chest x-ray, and other detailed tests.
10. The aspirant must be eligible to hold a Nepali Citizenship and Nepali Passport (for applying to International airlines)

 

Course Content

Our 6-Month Advanced Cabin Crew Training Program is professionally designed based on international aviation standards with inspirations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the international Air Transport Association (IATA), and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). This program is mainly aimed at producing high skilled professionals in Cabin Crew who are confident and service oriented to work at the international standards in the airline industry.

During the six-month period, the students would undergo rigorous training on the cabin safety procedures, in-flight service excellence, grooming and image management, personality development, effective communication using English, cabin announcement training, food and beverage services, swimming, ditching (knowledge of water survival), fire fighting practical, first aid and CPR, service drill practical, interview and CV preparation, guest speakers, performance appraisal, leadership and inflight familiarization (KTM- Pokhara sector with one take-off and one landing experience).

Besides the core cabin crew training, the students are also exposed to the operations of basic ground handling which offers them with background knowledge of the airport operations as well as passenger handling systems, and safety coordination of the ramps. This additional exposure creates a better perception of the entire aviation knowledge without losing the primary focus on cabin crew excellence.

6-month advanced cabin crew training package: Rs. 80,000.

The entire package contains a complete training program in cabin crew, the entry level ground handling, practical training, inflight familiarization  and certification on successful completion.
